Fall 2021 Competitive Try Out registration is now open. This fall we will be fielding teams with players from U9 to U14/15 based on birth years 2007-2013. Our teams will compete in Ohio Soccer Association (OSA) leagues which may include local leagues and inter-league games with teams from Southern Ohio.
Here are some key points for the Fall 2021 season concerning practice and games.
- Practice will begin the week of August 9th
- The U9 and Up Competitive/Premier Teams will play in OSA's OSDL Nike League and games will usually be held on Saturdays or Sundays. If needed, we may place teams in other OSA leagues based on availability or competition level. Copley Road Soccer Complex will be our home field. The majority of our games will be local within one hour driving distance. In some special cases, we will schedule games with teams that may be further away to include Toledo, Columbus, or Cincinnati.
- Teams will compete in two to three tournaments per season. Participation in these tournaments is expected by all rostered players.
- Our season is a 10 month commitment which includes Fall, Indoor Soccer, Futsal, and Spring seasons.
Coaching
All practices and games will be supervised and ran by our professional coaching staff licensed by United States Soccer Federation and United Soccer Coaches. Your player will receive professional coaching and guidance when they play with Mighty Kicks and Burning River United.
Rosters
Our U9 and Up Competitive/Premier teams will be based solely on playing ability and experience. At this age, it is important to start pairing players and building teams based on skill and ability. This method allows all players to develop by challenging each other during practice and playing more competitive league matches further enhancing player development and growth.

Soccer is just a game, but it is a game we can use to have a positive lasting impact on your child. During registration, each parent is required to read and sign a Parent and Player Code of Conduct and abide by the guidelines within. This will create a positive environment conducive to learning and having fun.
Pricing Structure
The Mighty Kicks/Burning River United Fall 2021 Competitive Season was designed to provide Premier Instruction and Training at an extremely competitive price. Our goal is to provide a quality soccer experience for you and your player while making it affordable to more families.
U9 and Up Competitive/Premier Teams - $250 (Payment Plan Available)
Includes facility rental, league fees, referee fees, player fees, professional coaching by US Soccer Federation licensed coaches during all training sessions and games.
*All Competitive/Premier Teams are required to have current uniform set. The Mighty Kicks/Burning River United uniform package includes game day uniform and practice jersey. The cost of this uniform package is $115. Returning players with current uniform do not need purchase this package.
